Woman And Two Teens Charged In Las Cruces Burglaries

Las Cruces – A 38-year-old woman and two teenage boys were arrested Thursday evening after police learned they burglarized vehicles at two area businesses on July 12.

Jenna C. Dugenia, 38, James Robert Hicks, 18, and Gunther Goley, 16, are charged with participating in auto burglaries that were committed at the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Valley Drive and at Tom Young's Fitness Center on Foster Road.

Dugenia and Hicks are each charged with two counts of burglary of a vehicle, conspiracy and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, Dugenia also faces one count of receiving stolen property. Goley faces one count each of burglary of a vehicle and conspiracy.

Las Cruces Police detectives learned that on July 12 the three conspired to burglarize vehicles parked at the Wal-Mart store and at Tom Young's. Three purses were stolen from an unlocked car parked at Wal-Mart, a fedora hat was taken from one car at Tom Young's and a backpack was taken from another.

Dugenia and Hicks were transported to the Dona Ana County Detention Center with bonds set at $10,000 each. Goley was incarcerated at the juvenile facility.
