Las Cruces, NM – The event is hosted annually by New Mexico State University's Chile Pepper Institute and brings together industry growers producers and processors from not only New Mexico, but the entire southwest as well.

This year's conference will feature author Raoul Adamchak who will speak about organic farming and genetically engineered food.

Coon-"We try to bring together the best researchers and latest industry based news for the growers, producers and processors to come and learn. Our goal is to educate people., so this is an avenue for that."

The conference begins on January 31st and concludes the first day of February. Events will take place at the Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces.

Preregistration is ninety-five dollars and must be received by January 24th. Registration is online at chilepepperinstitute.org or by phone at 575-646-3028.
