Commentary: Following Steve Pearce’s silence regarding the New Mexico GOP’s repeated sexist and baseless attacks against Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham, New Mexicans for Michelle released the following statement:
"Steve Pearce’s failure to condemn the New Mexico GOP's pattern of sexist attacks against Michelle Lujan Grisham is incredibly disrespectful of Michelle's long record of fighting for New Mexico women, children, and families,” said New Mexicans for Michelle Digital Director Kier Strader-Monaghan. “As a young woman in politics, I am disappointed that Steve Pearce and the New Mexico GOP continue to insult New Mexico women by using baseless attacks against accomplished female candidates. Michelle, and all women across New Mexico, deserve an immediate apology from the New Mexico GOP."
