Las Cruces Police Seek Women Who Used Stolen Bank Card

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that helps identify two women suspected of using a bank card in Las Cruces that was reportedly stolen in El Paso.

Las Cruces police learned the bank card was stolen Sunday, Sept. 30 at a hotel in El Paso, Texas. On the same day, the bank card was used at a Walmart store in Las Cruces and at several stores in the Mesilla Valley Mall.

Two women – who are unknown to the owner of the stolen bank card and who do not have authorization to use it – were captured on video surveillance using the card in Las Cruces.

Both women appear to have dark hair and are seen in surveillance video with a young child in a stroller.

Anyone with information that can help identify either one or both women is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Tips can also be provided through the Las Cruces Crime Stoppers app, “P3 TIPS.” The app is available through the App Store on most devices.
