ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – Federal authorities have released a photo of a woman who they believe was another victim of convicted sex torture and suspected serial killer David Parker Ray.
The Federal Bureau of Investigations on Friday released a photo from a fake ID that was in Ray's possession.
Ray was arrested in March 1999 after a naked woman wearing only a dog collar and chain fled his home. He was convicted of sex torture in 2001 and died in prison a year later.
Authorities -- who say he wrote of having some 40 victims -- recently have been refocused on the case. Last month they searched the banks of the drought-lowered Elephant Butte Reservoir, where they believe he may have buried victims.
