Las Cruces, NM – Mayor of the West Texas border city of El Paso, John Cook vetoed a City Council resolution Tuesday, which called for the federal government to have an "honest debate" about the legalization of narcotics. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, the resolution was drafted in response to the more than 1600 murders last year in El Paso's sister city, Juarez.
