Albuquerque, NM – A new poll finds Democrat Barack Obama with a ten point lead over Republican John McCain in the final days of the presidential race in New Mexico. The Rasmussen poll was based on the responses of five hundred likely voters, and showed Obama had the support of 54 percent while McCain had 44 percent.
Albuquerque, NM – Secretary of State Mary Herrera says voters who haven't yet received their absentee ballots by mail can vote without it. Herrera sent word to county clerks Wednesday to implement a process to allow those voters to cast ballots early or on Election Day. KUNM's Jim Williams reports.

The lawsuit claims that members of the party illegally used confidential social security numbers to conduct background checks and then distributed sensitive voter information to the press.
