Residents along McClure Road between Alameda Boulevard and Highland Avenue will experience a water outage, Thursday, April 24, between 9 a.m. and
1 p.m. for a water main connection.
Other impacted areas will include:
- Highland Avenue between McClure Road and Phillips Drive.
- Raymond Street between McClure Road and Linda Vista Street.
- Kismet Place between McClure Road and cul-de-sac.
Adjacent areas also may be affected. City crews will place door hangers on impacted residences a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the outage.
Once service is restored, residents may notice discolored water due to mineral deposits. Although the water is safe to drink, city officials recommend waiting to wash laundry until after the water becomes clear.
If discoloration does not disappear within 24 hours, residents should flush all faucets in the house for five minutes. If the discoloration remains, call the city at 526-0500 for assistance.
