New Mexico – The "Occupy Wall Street" movement is growing in New Mexico.
Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos and Las Cruces held protests Saturday aimed at attacking corporate greed and Wall Street.
In Albuquerque, police say some protesters blocked traffic by jaywalking. They were given several warnings not to jaywalk for their safety due to heavy traffic on central. Police say two protesters didn't listen and were given warning citations for jaywalking.
There were no immediate reports of any arrests at the other protest sites around New Mexico.
The protests were sparked in New Mexico after a group of University of New Mexico students build a makeshift overnight camp on campus, but were ordered to leave by police.
New Mexico State University students also took part in a national "Occupy College" protests.
