Vehicle Recovered In Triple Homicide

Las Cruces – A vehicle registered to two of the victims murdered in a Las Cruces area home was located at approximately 9:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at the City of Las Cruces Utilities Complex, Visitor Parking lot, located at 680 Motel Boulevard, by City Utility workers.

City Police were called to the scene, which in turn preserved the vehicle for processing, notifying Dona Ana County Sheriff's Investigators.

The white, 2007 Nissan Path Finder, bearing New Mexico registration 0819LFE, registered to Gilles Delisle and Peter Weith, was believed to have been taken from the scene of the murder, where Helga Delisle was also killed. The murder scene is a home in the 2600 block of Mesilla Hills Drive

The Vehicle was towed to the Dona Ana County Sheriff's Department, approximately one block from where it was located and will be processed for evidence.

Police have interviewed a person of interest in the case.
