Udall Introduces Bill to set the First Federal Renewable Energy Standards for Utilities

Las Cruces, NM – Last week New Mexico's Junior Senator, Democrat Tom Udall introduced a bill which would enact the first federal Renewable Electricity Standard, or R.E.S. into law. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, the bill would require utilities to generate a quarter of their electricity from wind, solar, and other renewable sources by 2025.
