Udall Announces DOJ Grants to Hire Police Officers

Las Cruces, NM – Understaffed police departments in New Mexico are being urged to apply for grants available through the United States Department of Justice. As KRWG's Marco Grajeda reports, one billion dollars from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will be used to hire more officers nationwide.
