Trigo Fire Crews Cautiously Optimistic

Las Cruces – Firefighters in Central New Mexico have been battling a blaze in the Manzano Mountains for more than three weeks now. The fire tore through the region scorching almost 14,000 acres and destroying 59 homes. KRWG's Evan Woodward was at the site of the fire earlier this week and he reports that crews there are cautiously optimistic.
