Strong Wind Warning

Las Cruces, NM – Strong winds are sweeping across southern New Mexico and west Texas this afternoon. According to the National Weather Service in El Paso, wind gusts tonight will reach sixty miles per hour.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation is reporting heavy winds on Interstate 10 From Arizona to the Texas state line which may affect driver visibility.

New Mexico 15 north of Silver City is snow-packed and icy. Transportation officials say traffic on the road should be limited to four-wheel drive vehicles. New Mexico 152 west of Silver City is also snow packed and icy.
