Silver City MainStreet Hosting State Meeting

Silver City MainStreet is the host MainStreet community for the New Mexico MainStreet Fall Leadership Network Meeting. The meeting will be held October 17 to 19, 2018 in the ballroom of the Murray Hotel.

The MainStreet program is a national program fostering economic development in local communities and operates under the NM MainStreet program and the state Economic Development Department.  Each quarter meetings are held around the state that provide continuing education and networking within the MainStreet community.

Enhance the Entrepreneurial and Creative Economy is the focus for this meeting and local entrepreneurs will be featured in panel discussions. Dale Rucklos, owner of Tranquil Buzz Coffee House, Teresa Dahl-Bredine, owner of Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery, Jane Janson, director of Silver City Small Business Development Center, and Mike Mandigan, assistant manager of the Silver City Food Co-op will participate.

Patrick Hoskins, Board President of Silver City MainStreet states, “We are excited to be hosting the fall quarterly and look forward to sharing our downtown with MainStreet directors from around the state. We are working with the downtown merchants to make everyone welcome. Power and Light Press is hosting our evening reception and welcome bags are being made for everyone. “
