Senate Approves Bill in Attempt to Lower Gasoline Prices

Las Cruces, NM – This week the United States Senate approved a bill which seeks to suspend the continued storage of seventy thousand barrels of oil per day at the country's Strategic Petroleum Reserve. A New Mexico economist says the move will affect the rising price of gasoline but only by a few cents.
