The New Mexico Department of Transportation in coordination with the Motor Transportation Police Department will be closing roads in Southern New Mexico on November 15th thru November 17th to move an oversize overweight load. The temporary road closures will affect highways in Socorro, Lincoln, Otero, Donna Ana, and Hidalgo counties from Friday, November 15th thru Sunday, November 17th.
Affected routes include: NM 166, NM 52, US 60, NM 1, US 380, US 54, NM 213, NM 404, NM 460, NM 136, NM 273, NM 9, NM 80, and I-10 East.
The closures will be manned during the entirety of the escort move by NMDPS-MTPD personnel. The scheduled transport is subject to change, depending on weather or other factors.
