Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that helps identify the armed robbery suspect who held up a hotel earlier this month.
Las Cruces Police learned that the robbery occurred at around 11:30 p.m. Monday, July 8, at the Super 8 hotel at 3405 Bataan Memorial West.
Police learned that the suspect, armed with a black handgun, entered the hotel and demanded cash from the register. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and left the hotel. He is believed to have left the property in a dark-colored sport utility vehicle, possibly a Dodge Durango.
The suspect was described as Hispanic with tattoos of circles under his eyes. He was wearing a long-sleeve hoodie shirt, long baggy shorts and a light blue beanie.
