Las Cruces, NM – Las Cruces Police officers arrested three men wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday evening.
According to a press release, Anthony Serna and brothers Tony David Brown and Andrew Brown of Las Cruces went to a residence located on Ethel Avenue intending to take money from the victim.
Police Detectives say one of the men was armed with a handgun and fired a round into the air while demanding money from the victim. No injuries were reported. Police have not located the weapon used during the robbery.
Serna and the Brown brothers were each charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one count of armed robbery and a count of conspiracy.
The three men were incarcerated at the Dona Ana County Detention Center.
