El Paso – EL PASO, Texas (KRWG) Scattered electrical outages have been reported in far West Texas after problems with two transmission lines.
El Paso Electric Co. says most electricity in the El Paso area was restored by about 1:15 a.m. Monday.
Company spokeswoman Teresa Souza says crews are working to determine what led to the transmission trouble. Souza says the lines that lost power are on the east side of El Paso.
The number of residential and business customers losing electricity, in outages that began around midnight Sunday, was not immediately available.
The utility did not immediately return a message Monday to The Associated Press.
