Nuclear Watchdogs pleased with proposed budget cuts

Las Cruces, NM – Some nuclear watchdogs are cautiously applauding a proposed budget released by the Obama Administration for operations at Los Alamos National Laboratory, or LANL. The budget cuts spending on a program designed to ramp up the lab's ability to produce plutonium pits, the cores of nuclear weapons. KUNM's Jim Williams reports.
