NMSU School Of Social Work Is Looking For Angels This Holiday Season

The Southwest Institute for Family and Child Advocacy, through the New Mexico State University School of Social Work, is working to make the holidays brighter. The group is looking for "angels" to help donate gifts to children in foster care.

In partnership with the state's Children, Youth and Families Department, the School of Social Work is hosting a "holiday angel tree" inside the College of Health and Social Services Building, Suite 210. The tree has tags for children ranging from newborns to 18 years old. To participate, simply choose an angel tag and return it with a wrapped, age-appropriate gift.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Gifts should be dropped off by Monday, Dec. 10 at 5 p.m. The gifts will be distributed to the children and youth the week before Christmas.
