NMSU Rated Among Best Graduate Schools For Education

  New Mexico State University is listed among the best graduate schools for education for 2015 according to U.S. News & World Report. 

NMSU ranks 116 on this year’s compilation and is tied with peer institutions such as the University of New Mexico, Texas Tech University and Oklahoma State University. 

“The College of Education graduate program is highly sought after by students and ranked at this level by U.S. News & World Report for a variety of reasons,” said Michael Morehead, dean of the NMSU College of Education. “Reasons for this ranking include the quality of our graduates, the quality of our programs, our excellent faculty and our extensive research that impacts the community and schools throughout the state and nation. Our graduate programs assist in developing the future educational leaders in our profession and this ranking by U.S. News affirms the quality of our program, faculty and graduates.”

U.S. News & World Report surveyed graduate programs at 356 schools granting doctoral degrees. Data from the 245 responding schools were used to calculate rankings based on 10 measures.
