Las Cruces, NM – Federal lawmakers are considering proposals aimed at recovering at least some of the bailout dollars handed out to AIG executives as bonuses. Thursday, the House of Representatives approved a punitive tax on the bonuses while several lawmakers, including members of New Mexico's congressional delegation, are pressuring AIG to recover the money.
