Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that helps identify the two men suspected of stealing a sport utility vehicle from the parking lot of a local store.
About noon on Sunday, March 10, a Honda CRV was stolen from the parking lot of Target, at 2541 E. Lohman Ave. Las Cruces police investigators believe the suspects were inside the Target store just prior to stealing the SUV. Target surveillance cameras captured images of the two men as they left the store.
The vehicle was later recovered, abandoned, in El Paso, Texas. It’s possible the suspects live in or near El Paso.
Anyone with information that can help identify either one – or both – of the suspects is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Tips can also be provided through the Las Cruces Crime Stoppers app, “P3 TIPS.” The app is available through the App Store on most devices.
Those who provide tips through Crime Stoppers do not have to leave their own name and will remain completely anonymous.
