Las Cruces' Munson Center To Host AARP Presentation On Medicaid Expansion

  Effective January 1, 2014, Medicaid will be expanded to include individuals between the ages of 19 and 65 (parents and adults without dependent children). The City of Las Cruces Senior Programs invites the public to attend a presentation on Medicaid expansion and an update on the Affordable Care Act at Munson Center, 975 S. Mesquite St., Tuesday, October 8, from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. led Jackie Cooper, state president, AARP New Mexico,  and Gary Williams, associate state director for community outreach.

AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that helps people 50 and older improve the quality of their lives. The mission of Munson Center is to promote and enhance the physical, intellectual and social well-being of people 50 plus who live in Las Cruces.
