Johnson Making 2012 Announcement April 21

By KRWG News

New Mexico – Former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson plans to make what he calls a major announcement later this month in New Hampshire.

Johnson has scheduled a news conference for April 21 on the steps of the New Hampshire State Capitol in Concord to discuss his plans for the 2012 election.

Johnson announced plans for the news conference Tuesday in a Twitter post and on the website of a political advocacy group he started two years ago, Our America Initiative.

Johnson has been mentioned as a possible Republican presidential candidate. He served as New Mexico governor from 1995 through 2003.

Since forming the advocacy group in late 2009, Johnson has been traveling extensively, speaking about the national debt, marijuana legalization, immigration reform and the country's involvement in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya.
