This week's Images is an Encore broadcast of Carrie's interview with Martin Gemoets, who died on February 19th, 2003.

Martin was a retired Colonel of the U.S. Army and served in the Battle of the Bulge and the Korean War. He was featured on the program as one of 5 in a series of war veterans who were participating in the Veterans Writing Project run by Kevin McIlvoy. Martin spoke about his experiences in war and read from his "A Short Story of War, 1944 in France and Germany".
