Las Cruces, NM – On Wednesday, Dona Ana County Officials announced the upcoming holiday closures at the government offices. Most of the county offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, December 25th and 26th in observance of the Christmas Holiday.
Dona Ana County Employees will also be off Thursday, January 1st. According to county officials, emergency and law enforcement personnel on the field will not have the days off--however, the Sheriff's Department offices will be closed during the holidays.
The County's Solid Waste convenience stations in several communities including Anthony, La Mesa, Hill and La Union will also be closed.
The City of Las Cruces will close its offices Thursday and Friday December 25th and 26th as well as on New Year's Day. All of the city's museums, the Solid Waste Offices and the Brannigan Library will be among the places closes their doors during the upcoming holidays.
