Las Cruces, NM – Women in the United States have a twelve-percent chance of developing breast cancer during their lifetime according to the National Cancer Institute. Health officials say early detection and treatment will increase the probability of survival, but proper care is often out of reach for many low-income people. KRWG's Melissa Aguilera has this report.
