Gila River Water Diversion Plan

During the current legislative session, Democratic state Senator John Arthur Smith of Deming proposed a $25 million Southern New Mexico Water Pipeline. The project would plan, design and build a water pipeline from the Gila-San Francisco water basin to Hidalgo, Luna, Doña Ana and Grant counties. Edmundo Resendez has the story.
