Las Cruces, NM – A challenge grant from a Southwestern philanthropy will complete the First Step Women's Health Clinic $6 million capital campaign if the Memorial Medical Foundation can raise one million dollars before the first of the year.
Yesterday, First Step announced they are nearing a major goal in moving out of the trailers and into an entirely new healthcare facility. The $6 million dollar campaign could be cut short due to a $500,000 challenge grant by the Mabee Foundation. The Tulsa based foundation provides grants which assist religious, charitable and educational organizations with capital outlay projects.
