Bingaman's Proposal for a National Renwable Electricity Standard Clears Major Hurdle

Las Cruces, NM – New Mexico's Senior Senator Jeff Bingaman announced yesterday that his proposal to create a federal renewable energy electricity standard, or RES took a significant step forward in the Energy and Natural Resources Committee. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, the proposal will now likely be included as part of a larger energy bill.
