Bingaman, Udall and Teague Request Aid for Laid-Off Mine Workers

Las Cruces, NM – Senator Jeff Bingaman along with Senator-elect Tom Udall, and Representative-elect Harry Teague sent a letter to Labor Secretary Elaine Chao yesterday-encouraging the Department of Labor to promptly assess if the 600 copper mine workers who are set to be laid-off in Grant County can receive federal assistance. KRWG's Evan Woodward reports.
