Las Cruces, NM – Las Crucen Dinny Bomberg is heading for Peru on Friday. Not to visit the seaside or Incan ruins at Machu Picchu. Instead, she is on a mission in the name of her daughter, Becky, who died there three years ago. Through "The Becky Fund", Bomberg brings desperately needed school supplies to the poorest of Peruvian children who live in the Andes mountains. In this first of a three-part series, KRWG's Jodi Breisler introduces you to Bomberg and her daughter, Becky Pritchard.
