Applicants Sought For Southern Dona Ana County Zoning Board

  The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA) is seeking applications from residents interested in serving on the newly formed Extra-Territorial Planning and Zoning Commission (ETZC) between the City of Sunland Park and Doña Ana County.

   The ETZC will consist of a five-member board of volunteers comprising two residents of the City of Sunland Park, two residents living within the 56-square-mile ETZ and one Doña Ana County resident living outside of both areas.

   The ETZC will assist with the administration of the subdivision, zoning, planning and platting regulations for the 56-square-mile area adjacent to and west of the City of Sunland Park.

   The ETZC also will review land-use and development matters at public hearings, once a regular meeting schedule is established.

   Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 26. Each applicant must submit a letter of interest, current resume and three references to CRRUA, P.O. Box 429, Sunland Park, N.M., 88063. Applications also can be hand-delivered to the City of Sunland Park, 4950 McNutt Road, Sunland Park, N.M., or faxed to (575) 589-1185, attention: Ana Apodaca.
