The report says 12,679 New Mexico students took the test.

Among New Mexico's test-takers, 59 percent are deemed ready for college English classes, while 32 percent are ready for college algebra. Both figures are up 1 percent from last year.

The report says 47 percent of New Mexico test-takers are ready for Social Studies classes in college, the same figure as last year, while 22 percent are ready for college biology, up 1 percent.
